Martha Lou Davis Cottingham
Martha Lou Davis Cottingham, 73, of Powhatan, formally of Middlesex, passed away November 21, 2021. She was preceded in death by her father, John Dallas Davis Sr.; mother and step-father Myrtle D. and Charles W. Faulkner Sr.; and sister, Ann Carlton Gresham Davis. She is survived by her devoted husband, Don F. Cottingham; two sons, RD Monson and his wife Dawn M. Monson, Bruce F. Monson and his wife Michelle Monson; four grandchildren, Eli and Blake Monson, Emily and Skylar Monson; brother, John D. Davis Jr. and his wife Mary Ann Davis; three nieces, Emily Wills, Melissa Welch, and Jana Copley and their families and many loving friends. Martha loved spending times with her “Sea Chick’s”. The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday, December 4, 2021 at Faulkner Funeral Homes, Bristow-Faulkner Chapel in Saluda, VA with a memorial ceremony at 11 a.m. Inurnment will follow at 2 p.m. in Harmony Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Shriners Children’s Hospital, Martha D. Cottingham.
