Megan René Conner gained her angel wings on Tuesday, November 30, 2021.

Megan was born on November 29, 1988 in Salem, Virginia. Megan has been described by family and friends as a beautiful Angel on Earth, great friend, wonderful aunt and sister, reliable and capable co-worker, and so many more amazing attributes. Her smile, laughter and goofiness lit up any room. Megan never met a stranger and everyone that knew her loved her so much.

Megan is survived by her parents which she adored, Steve and Tammy Conner and Steve and Angie Webb. She had very loving grandparents, Fred and Janice Conner, Freddie and Freeda Harris, Ernie and Zenna Webb, and Margie McCracken. Megan is also survived by her special great-grandmother, Sylvia Goad. Her loving siblings include Morgan and Evan Phillips, Maggie Webb, Stephen "Kooter" Conner and Macy Webb. Megan is also survived by the little loves of her life, her nieces and nephew, Avri, Brylee and Camden Phillips and her special doggie companion, Josie. Left behind to remember her are many special aunts and uncles, relatives, and many, many friends.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday December 11, 2021 at Gardner's Funeral Home in Floyd, Virginia with Pastor Mike Varner, and Stephen "Kooter" Conner officiating.

The family will hold a visitation beginning at 12:30 pm with the service to follow at 4 pm.

Although never blessed with her own, Megan adored children of all ages and blessed many children in her earthly life. In honor of Megan and her love for her nieces and nephew, the family ask that you please consider donating in her memory to Auburn Elementary School's Family Resource Closet, Faith Missionary Baptist Church Preschool, or a similar organization.
