Patricia A. “Pat” Cota

Patricia A. “Pat” Cota, 88, of Midlothian, went to be with the Lord on Friday, January 22, 2021. She is survived by her beloved Husband of 59 years, Richard A. Cota Sr.; daughters, Jennifer A. Coghlan (Patrick), Kirsten B. Lane (Randy); son, Richard A. Cota, Jr. (Lydia); sister, Jane P. Ewing; grandchildren, Michael and Drew Coghlan, Alan and Haley Cota, and Holly Lane. Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, Audrey “Sunny” and Daniel R. Porter, Sr.; brother-in-law, Tom Ewing; brother, Daniel R. Porter, Jr. Pat’s world was her children and grandchildren. Her passion was for her artwork to be enjoyed by her friends and family. Her funeral service will be private for family only. Pat will be interred at the Virginia Veterans Cemetery in Amelia.

Pat was the wife of Richard A. “Dick” Cota a long-time casket salesman for numerous companies, most recently he was with Thacker Caskets.
