Ann Spencer McRee

McRee, Ann Spencer, 82, of Richmond, passed away on Sunday, May 8, 2022. Ann was born in Richmond, VA, the daughter of the late Luther and Florence Spencer. She is preceded in death by her husband, Goodridge McRee, and her sister-in-law, Patricia Spencer. Ann is survived by her brother, Easley Spencer, nephew Rusty Spencer (Tracy), niece Melissa Simms (Billy), and their families. Ann lived life to the fullest and was always willing to help others. She graduated from RPI as an art major. In addition, she was a dedicated member of First Baptist Church on Monument Ave., Beta Sigma Phi sorority, and Bellevue Security Patrol. She worked at her family’s business, Spencer Casket Company, and at the John Marshall House. Her family and friends will miss her. Family will receive friends from 4-6 p.m. on Thursday, May 12 at Bliley’s-Central, 3801 Augusta Ave. Funeral services will be held at 12 p.m. on Friday, May 13 at First Baptist Church, 2709 Monument Ave. Interment will be private.
