Marsha F. Underdown, age 77, of Chesapeake, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 15, 2026. She was the daughter of the late Ira and Frances M. Furman.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 57 years, Richard “Rick” Underdown, daughter Shelley U. Besgrove (husband Mike) of North Carolina, and daughter-in-law Jennifer R. Underdown.

She was predeceased by her son Glenn Underdown, sister Karen Jones, and brother-in-law Charlie Jones.

Marsha was a devoted wife and very dedicated mother to both of her children.

A funeral service will be held at Hollomon-Brown, Great Bridge Chapel on Monday, July 20, 2026 at 11AM. The family will receive friends one hour prior. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Khedive Shrine Center.
